Northampton Integrative Medicine

Welcome! Sarah Wilson, PA-C

Sarah Wilson, PA-C received her undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Biology and obtained her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2013.

Sarah started her career as a PA working in the emergency department at Baystate Medical Center, drawn to acute care medicine following her years working as an EMT. She spent 9 years as a general surgical PA working overnights at Mercy Medical Center. In her time there she managed floor patients and assisted in the operating room on emergency cases. Her years in acute care allowed for a unique view of the human body from the inside and out and showed her there was a significant deficit in our current health system for managing chronic illnesses and addressing full body wellness after the trauma of a health crisis.

Sarah believes our bodies are a cohesive ecosystem with innate healing abilities. She works with patients to investigate their health history in a holistic manner and identify possible root causes for illness. Patients can expect an open-minded, empathetic environment where they will feel heard and will take part in steering treatment plans to personally optimize wellness and quality of life.

Sarah is a proud mother of three young children and a lover of animals. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, inverted yoga, downhill skiing, hiking and soccer.
