RLC labs, the maker of Naturethroid and WP Thyroid, has recalled all products from pharmacies around the country. Some of these medications were found to be sub potent, meaning they may have had up to 13% less thyroid med than labelled. If you are currently taking Naturethroid or WP Thyroid, please contact your pharmacy or leave a message for one member of our nursing team, and we will see that a script for a comparable dose of Armour or NP Thyroid is sent in to your pharmacy. Please let us know if you have a preference for one or the other of these brands. NP Thyroid is gluten free; Armour is not.
