As both a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) and Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), she offers a truly comprehensive, whole-person approach to healing.
Dr. Hinkle works with patients of all ages, specializing in complex and chronic health conditions—including autoimmune disorders, blood sugar and metabolic issues, weight challenges, digestive concerns, chronic pain syndromes, and neurological conditions. Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis or searching for answers after years of symptoms, Dr. Hinkle provides thoughtful, individualized care designed to address the root cause of illness—not just the symptoms.
Her patients appreciate her warm, collaborative style. She believes in listening deeply, respecting your unique health story, and partnering with you to co-create a sustainable plan for healing. Every visit is grounded in the belief that the body has an innate capacity to heal when supported with the right tools, information, and care.
Dr. Hinkle uses a wide range of treatment modalities tailored to each individual. These include herbal medicine, targeted nutrition and dietary therapies, high-quality supplements, bioidentical hormone therapy, environmental medicine, peptides, IV nutrient therapy, homeopathy, and exercise plans. When appropriate, she also integrates prescription medications—always with the goal of using the least invasive and most effective approach.
Dr. Hinkle earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. She then spent seven years at the nationally recognized George Washington University Center for Integrative Medicine in Washington, DC—a leading academic center known for its pioneering work in integrative care—where she provided holistic care to patients from children to older adults. She later earned her Physician Assistant degree from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA, to expand access to integrative care for more families.
Over the years, Dr. Hinkle has worked in diverse clinical settings—from community health clinics to prestigious integrative practices such as Pediatric Alternatives in Mill Valley, CA and the GW Center for Integrative Medicine—where she provided both conventional and holistic care for children and adults.
Now based on the East Coast, Dr. Hinkle has enjoyed being part of a practice focused on compassionate, root-cause healing. Whether you’re new to holistic medicine or looking for an integrative specialist who treats the full spectrum of health concerns, you’ll be met with expertise and care.
